Becoming is owned and operated by an Ontario Certified Teacher with over 20 years experience in public education. At Becoming we provide academic tutoring and mentorship support services to students in all subject areas, including Math, Reading, French, and to students enrolled in the elementary and intermediate panels. The support we offer aligns closely with the Ontario Curriculum. Students are taught effective strategies that ensure success. Student progress is closely monitored. Our Tutors conduct pre and post assessments to measure student growth.
Each of our tutors specialize in specific subject areas. They have strong interpersonal skills and relate well with children and teens. They work in collaboration with the parent and classroom teacher to ensure support is specific to areas of academic need. This triangulation of support is integral to student success.
